Module 1: Fundamentals of Agility

This online Masterclass provides a quick review of Agile's historical roots and the challenges that drove its evolution. 

It bases the Agile discussion on the core concepts upon which it was founded and that precede the Agile Manifesto, which is also covered in its entirety.

With this agile mindset established as the guiding launch point, the course moves toward covering widely applied frameworks and practices, characterizing them from the perspective of the underlying Lean and Agile principles that support and from which to derive to "Do Agile."

This online course is collaborative and participatory from start to finish. You will learn, experience and internalize what it means to be and apply Agile, from the values ​​to the principles and practices, even in the way the course itself is delivered. 

You will understand the fundamental concepts and the basic mindset and skills required to be a productive member of any agile team. You will identify and address any questions you have about Agile and you will be prepared to live and develop in any agile environment.

Module 4 - The why and what of leading with agility

We explore the changing environment and the dynamics that require a different approach to lead and follow. What are some of the concrete attitudes, expectations, and behaviors that we expect to see in people who lead with agility?

Module 5 - Behaviors that enable agility

When making a radical change or transformation, it is crucial to understand where we came from, where we are now, and where we are going. We explore the evolution of leadership theories and styles and the dynamics of power and influence, and how we can grow our own personal agility.

Module 6 - Knowing and connecting with yourself

Leading others begins with developing the ability to lead ourselves. In this session, we explore the inner game of leading ... self-awareness, heuristics (cognitive biases), and leadership-specific mind traps. How can we be more mindful when unlocking those mind traps to grow as leaders?

Module 7 - Developing and leading ourselves

We explore the "clear leadership" model developed by Gervase Bushe and how to develop the leader's 4 selves: the conscious self, the descriptive self, the curious self, and the appreciative self. We explore several key contexts where we can put them into practice... for a better exchange of impressions with people (check-in); give and receive effective "feedback", delve into leadership coaching and defuse conflicts by creating clarity in interpersonal relationships.

Module 8 - Competent communication

Communicating effectively; relating to others, creating and maintaining healthy interactions, having productive conversations, and ultimately the ability to influence others requires practice and understanding of the dynamics of effective communication. In this session, we explore various mental models that enable better communication and the power of effective storytelling to move and influence others.
